Marcel Luske in full battle gear to fight off Poker Frauds

Poker frauds have become common and poker player Marcel Luske, taking a break from the table, hopes that the menace can be tackled if the poker industry adapts the unique identification system developed by his company which is specially designed to crackdown frauds taking place in the game.


In order to do this he is taking a bet which he believes would prevent frauds and offer security to the game.

Marcel, a former pro from PokerStars declared this week that Fortified-ID his new venture has developed the first personal identification card system in the world which would uniquely feature an impossible to clone finger print. As per the company website the company creates “nonClonableIDTM technology (nCID)” labels and tags that carry inimitable digital fingerprints in the user’s identity cards. The cards will be authenticated by scanning the nCID tags which in turn will allow the determination of the identity of the persons by the poker platform. According to claim the compactly created identity cards will be ideal for poker registration to serving as a passport when you need to travel overseas.

Amaya’s chairman looking to take largest online poker company

Amaya’s CEO and chairman is looking to take the largest online poker company of the world about 18 months after it got hold of PokerStars for $4.9 billion. David Baazov along with a bunch of investors declared on Monday that their interest in paying US$ 21 per share in cash, forty per cent above Friday’s closing amount.
Recently, a news release issued in Baazov’s name said that the main form and structure of the transaction have not been determined, and no discussions have commenced between Mr. Baazov and Amaya with respect to any particular transaction.
It stated that there is no guarantee that dealing would go on or be reasoned out. A same statement issued by the board of directors of the company stated that a committee of independent directors would critique any formal offers by Baazov or others.
The proclamations prompted a soar up in Amaya’s stock price that peaked Monday at $19.75 on the Toronto Stock Exchange — the most since 24th December. In later dealing, Amaya (TSX:AYA) stock fell back to close up US$ 3.01 or 20% at $18.

Charlie Carrel, just 21 Wins €1,114,000 in EPT11 Grand Final €25K High Roller Event

21 year old Charlie won the 2015 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino EPT Grand €25,000 High Roller and the prize money of €1.114 million for first place. The tournament drew a total of 215 entries consisting of 159 Day 1 entries and three day 2 entries, along with 53 reentries.

The later comprised of 42 reentries on Day 1 and 11 reentries on Day 2. A total of €5,267,500 was generated for the pool and it all came to an end with Charlie’s Friday night win.

The success of the first €25K, was the biggest of Carrel, but this is not the only one he had won. Carrel headed the field consisting 212 entries back in November, and won the 2014 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Grand Final and earned £108,625. Only a couple of months ago, he also won €183,800 when he finished at the fifth place in EPT Malta €10,000 High Roller.

Carrel confessed that in the last five months he had been living out the suitcase. When asked what his next plans are, he told that it is going to celebration with friends in a town which is not decided yet. Carrel also came up that the win was not all of his own and he is also planning to participate in the $111,111 One Drop event of 2015 World Series of Poker.
